With a little over two weeks to go until Avengers: Endgame hits cinema screens, suspense is growing as we wait to find out what fate awaits our favourite heroes.

Since Infinity War came to its tragic and quite frankly unacceptable end, Marvel have remained relatively tight-lipped about about its highly anticipated sequel.

As the release draws closer we’re getting treated to more and more insight as to what’s to come, with the most recent clip raising more questions than answers.

See if you can figure out what’s got people talking below:

Rather than teasing us with another trailer, Marvel made the decision to release a clip from the actual movie, gifting us with an entire minute and 14 seconds of Avengers greatness.

In it, we see Scarlett Johansson’s character Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow suggesting the Avengers should take the fight to Thanos and take the stones right out of his hands, in order to reverse what he did when he snapped his fingers. (Let’s not talk about it).

Bruce Bannner/Hulk is sceptical but, as Black Widow says:

Even if there’s a small chance that we can undo this, we owe it to everyone who’s not in this room to try.

When Bruce asks how they know it’s not just going to end any differently than before, Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel/Complete Badass says, ‘Because before you didn’t have me’. A quite intense staring match between her and Thor then ensues.

As incredible as that all sounds though, that isn’t what’s got people talking. Instead, the mystery comes at approximately 0:48 seconds, when eagle-eyed viewers think they hear a hidden message in the clip.

And regardless of whether you missed it the first time round (which you definitely will have done), once you hear it, trust me when I say you won’t be able to unhear it.

You ready? Well, just as Thor walks towards Danvers – coming face-to-face with her – you can hear a female voice quite clearly saying ‘I have telepathy’ in whispered tones.

What does it all mean?! Does Captain Marvel have telepathy?! Does someone else have telepathy?! Is there a ghost in the room?!

And fans are as creeped out as me, with many emphasising they are ‘shook’ and others describing the scene as ‘creepy’ and ‘unsettling’.

Who even knows what’s going on at this point? The only thing that’s certain is two weeks is waaay too long to wait. Hurry up, please.

Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas in the US on April 26, 2019.
