After all the fighting, all the knighting and all the winter is coming-ing, one question has recently emerged from Game of Thrones to which fans are desperate for an answer.

Is it where does Bran go when he wargs? No. Is Cersei really pregnant? Well yeah maybe, but that’s not the question. Will Bron ever get his castle and land? Maybe.

But more than all these, more than all the contenders for the Iron Throne, fans need to know where that darn Starbucks coffee cup came from in the latest episode, The Last of the Starks.

The cup came to everyone’s attention almost right away – people love accidental mistakes in TV shows – and it’s since gone on to great fame, even garnering its own Twitter account.

A very visible Starbucks cup was spotted in a scene of the latest episode of Game of Thrones, distracting fans from what was a much quieter, talkier episode than the one prior.

The scene was a telling one, with Daenerys not looking too happy with the attention lavished upon her BF/nephew Jon Snow, a man she professed her love for just two episodes ago.

The shift in the – already complicated – relationship dynamic was obvious, but what was more obvious was the green mermaid Starbucks logo which has long been recognizable across our non-fantasy world.

Now, however, we may have answer as to who is the culprit behind the well-placed takeaway cup.

As we’ve seen for a while now, and as we saw heavily in the latest episode, Sansa Stark has developed into a fully-fledged, highly intelligent schemer of Westeros. She knew exactly what she was doing when she told Tyrion about Jon’s secret, and while her attitude towards Daenerys was also blatant, it seems Sansa is the one behind the errant Starbucks cup stealing the scene away from Dany, too.

Check it out:

There’s no visible name on the cup, but it’s obvious who ordered steaming cup of ‘I told you so’.

Some truly delicious, next-level scheming going on from Sansa. Dany better watch her back next time she orders a flat white.
