Disney have confirmed my undying dream for a crossover in their film universes.

This is quite a big revelation for fans of Frozen and Tarzan who never could have hoped for something as significant.

Released 14 years apart, Frozen is actually a sort of prequel to Tarzan as a director has confirmed that the ‘son of a man’ is in fact Elsa and Anna’s younger brother.

It’s true! Remember when the Princesses’ parents die whilst at sea? Well there is more too it then we once thought.

Their parents got pretty busy and their mother was pregnant, gave birth on the boat, and then they washed ashore, far away from their Scandinavian castle.

Frozen’s director Chris Buck said:

I think Jen [Lee, his co-director] and I were walking to a meeting, and I just started to tell her the entire story.

Of course Anna and Elsa’s parents didn’t die. Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy. They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas.

And we know what happens from there…the leopard comes and ruins everything before Phil Collins’ angelic coo brings the whole theatre to tears.

So now we know the two universes collide, I’m just waiting for ‘Frozan’ (I copyright that).
