Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Expecting Their Third Child

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are expecting their third child together, and look absolutely glowing with happiness.

The Hollywood couple were photographed at the premiere of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, cradling Lively’s visible baby bump.

Lively, 31, was positively beaming as she held a hand across her belly, looking as striking as ever in a sunshine yellow Retrofête dress.

Reynolds, 42, looked proud as punch, his wide movie-star grin never leaving his face.

Reynolds and Lively, who tied the knot in 2012, already have two young daughters together – four-year-old James and two-year-old Inez.

In December 2018, Reynolds joked around about his wish for a third kid while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, deadpanning that his children ‘happened from sex’:

Just the two times, yeah. It’s a mercenary job, you know, it’s just clinical.

I’m hoping for a third soon. They say you need to do 10,000 hours of anything you want to be an expert at, so…

He did however admit that he had had his fill of the obligatory parent duties of watching Frozen over and over again:

I have seen Frozen with my daughters so, so many times,

And people don’t know this, but if you play Frozen backwards it’s actually a shot for shot remake of The Exorcist.

As reported by Elle, Lively made the following telling comments about wanting a bigger family in 2016:

I’m one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we’re officially breeders. You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children.

Lively has previously joked about wanting 30 kids, making the following remark to Marie Claire in 2014:

If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.

Well-wishes have poured in from fans and A-listers alike, including from the official Detective Pikachu Twitter account, which described her as a ‘PokeMom’.
