With a bit of a reputation for relying on lip syncing at her shows, Carpool Karaoke was Britney’s time to shine.
When CBS announced the pop princess’s appearance in the passenger seat, fans were excited to hear her voice with no holding back.
But if this trailer is anything to go by, it looks like it didn’t quite go to plan for her, with Britney timidly miming while Corden belts out the tune – overshadowing her on her own song!
The teaser video from The Late Late Show has got us searching for a way to turn up the volume enough to actually hear the ‘Toxic’ star’s voice:
Things might have been a bit awkward between the pair after Corden accused Britney of giving a ‘half arsed’ performance on The X Factor back in 2008.
I’d love to have seen his reaction after she did it again on his own show.
And her timid performance didn’t go unnoticed on Twitter…
This girl still has a bit of hope, though…
We’ll have to wait and see the full video on Thursday to know for sure – you never know, they might have just put her worst bit in to drum up hype for the episode.
