Well, I suppose the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Liam Hemsworth’s dad is stacked, but in a low-key, old guy kinda stacked. Not too much not too little. Just right. [I do not fancy Chris Hemsworth’s dad].
His sons Chris, Liam and Luke are known for being in peak physical form, but who knew old pops was just as devoted to #musclenation, if not more so.
After all, things get a bit rusty with old age. It’s arguably more impressive how Craig Hemsworth is keeping his lads on their toes.
In an Instagram post, the family were seen hiking in Hollywood. Craig, of course, was topless.
One commenter gushed:
Dang, those shoulder muscles on the oldie!
While another said:
If that’s your dad, he’s ripped!
It is his dad. Ol’ Craig has previously made appearances on his sons’ Insta feed. The last time we properly saw him, the guy was fast asleep on a plane after having a wee bit too much to drink.
Chris says in the video:
Avengers press tour… old papa bear here. Started off strong this morning with a champagne for breakfast. Amateur mistake, mate. Amateur.
Oh, sleeping bear. Here he comes!
He captioned the post:
The old boy ain’t cut out for life on the road. they’re dropping like flies already #nolongerdadsfavorite #thor #avengersinfinitywar [sic]
The Thor actor is more than partial to letting his family cameo on his social media. Last month, he shared a photo of his mum to the Gram.
Posting the photo of him alongside his parents – Leonie and Craig – from the stands at the Commonwealth Games, Chris’ followers were all too kind in the comments.
One wrote:
Wow! Thought your mum was a girlfriend, looking so young!! Your father looking good too. Good spirit!
Another fan said:
Mom and Dad are gorgeous! Mom definitely does not look old enough for children this age! Wow!
And one commented:
Your mom is beautiful, not surprised she made gorgeous children.
Chris, who’s married to fellow actor Elsa Pataky, is the middle of three brothers, all of whom are actors – there’s older brother Luke, and younger brother Liam.
Elsa was in the news recently after fighting off a metre-long snake in the bathroom of their family home.
Incredibly, the dangerous serpent ended up in a cardboard box through the use of a pole from a mop, and some pretty expert balancing – on the lid of the toilet seat.
She even warded off the intruder in nothing but a bikini and a t-shirt, no protection whatsoever. Pretty hard.
The actress has previously admitted to keeping a pet snake in her bedroom.
She told Times of India last year:
I don’t mind the wild, people are like ‘You have a snake in your bedroom! And I’m like, ‘I know! I love it!’
Every morning I go to my horse barefoot and I clean out the stalls. My daughter asked me ‘Mumma, are we farmers now?’ and I was like, ‘Yes! We are farmers!’
She doesn’t admire anything about the movies, she’s just excited to be at home and being with the horses – giving them hay.
The couple really aren’t at all squeamish when it comes to creepy crawlies or things of that nature, and regularly share snaps of themselves among their animal mates. But that’s Australia for you.
