Daisy Ridley and John Boyega Just Released This Cringey Star Wars Rap

We already knew that John Boyega and Daisy Ridley had some impressive skills with a lightsaber, but who’d have thought their greatest talent would be forcing a rhyme.

The pair showcased their impressive, and slightly cringey, rapping skills in an exclusive clip for Entertainment Tonight. Admittedly they’re not going to give Biggie or Tupac any trouble, but they’d definitely give Flavor Flav a run for his money.

The pair begin their geeky rap with Boyega laying down a beat while Ridley starts dropping classic lines like a TIE-fighter drops bombs.

Seriously, lyrics like ‘we all up in the desert filming Star Wars, because of our diets we can’t eat no Mars bars’, would make Kanye jealous.

Boyega eventually joins Ridley on the chorus and the duo yell, ‘In the desert woo! In the desert woo!’ Honestly, this song’s catchier than Justin Bieber’s Sorry and Rhianna’s Work combined.

The funny clip also shows cast members from the film dancing along to Boyega’s beastly beats and Ridley’s sick rhymes – full credit to the dancing stormtrooper who really brings the heat with his sweet moves.

The Force Awakens arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray on April 18, but for those impatient to head back to a galaxy far, far away you can get the digital download from April 11.
