Did Scarlett Moffatt Lie To Help Her Win I’m A Celebrity?

The anti-Scarlett train has been fuelled and is full steam ahead after the final episode of I’m A Celebrity aired yesterday.

In last night’s episode, Scarlett managed to wangle public support after a Bushtucker Trial in which she was required to stay in an enclosed space with only creepy crawlies to keep her claustrophobia at bay.

The Gogglebox modern day prophet told Ant and Dec she hoped her final Bushtucker Trial would help her conquer her fear of small spaces.

Tonight To everyone who's voted thank you! To everyone else please make my girl a jungle queen and get voting ?????

Scarlett said:

I can feel myself getting upset.

But I feel if I can do this I might finally be able to go in lifts because I was on the 34th floor out here and I walked the stairs because I can’t stand small spaces.

While her valiant performance went some way to winning her the crown of Queen of the Jungle, some claimed Scarlett may have constructed a sob story to gain the throne.

Commentators pointed out that Scarlett has taken a number of joyful looking selfies in a lift before, accusing the 24-year-old of winning by deceptive means.

Scarlett won the public vote to defeat Joel Dommett in the race to be crowned Jungle King or Queen.

After a blisteringly good run in the jungle, the County Durham girl with the quick quips and unending sense of humour reigned victorious.

Despite that, Camp Joel were not happy, and called Scarelett out for lying to gain popularity.

Frankly, if these truth-seekers are so concerned with fakery on their television screens perhaps they should take up an obsession with Netflix documentaries, rather than light-hearted so-called reality TV that we all know, deep down, is all filmed, edited and staged for our entertainment.
