Game of Thrones Season Six Spoilers! You’ve Been Warned!

Jon Snow aside, most of the citizens of Westeros only get one, usually short life, except it seems for an actor who’s been lucky enough to crop up in the show twice as two different characters.

Dean-Charles Chapman currently plays the weak willed boy-king Tommen Baratheon on Game of Thrones who ascended to the pointy throne back in Season Four, after the twisted Joffrey’s eventful ‘Purple Wedding’.

Happy Days!

Chapman’s only been playing the naive Tommen since 2014, when Cersei’s less psychotic son was struck with that odd TV disease where established characters age a decade between series.

However the showrunners had clearly had their eye on the golden haired boy for a while as he’d appeared before as a lesser Lannister named Martyn, who found himself stuck on the pointy end of Lord Karstark’s sword.

An example of being on the pointy end...

According to Mashable the twin characters were first spotted by Hello Giggles who asked why no one else had noticed that the two characters looked suspiciously similar and a quick trip to IMDB solved the case.

Of course while we’re pretty sure the producers just liked the actor but people sharing the same face is surprisingly common in Westeros, could Tommen be a Faceless Man?

Probably not, unless Jaqen H’ghar’s just not got round to the bit of Arya’s training where you let literally everyone in King’s Landing manipulate you.
