Emma Watson And Tom Felton Hang Out In LA

Emma Watson recently reunited with her Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton in Los Angeles.

Seven years after the conclusion of the magical franchise, the actors enjoyed being free from Voldemort by relaxing on Venice Beach and cruising through the Californian city on a skateboard, looking effortlessly cool.

28-year-old Emma – you feel old now, don’t you? – shared a snap of the pair on her Instagram page, showing them basking in the November sun and enjoying their freedom in a way only celebrities can.

The pair joked about as Tom scorned Emma for wobbling the skateboard through ‘dancing around on the board like a clown’, and it sounds like it wasn’t the first joint skateboard venture they’ve ever had…

Emma presumably was referring to Tom when she captioned the photo with the hashtag ‘TF tolerating my subpar skating skills since 1999’ [sic].

Even with the wobbling, the pair seemed to glide along like a couple of easygoing Hogwarts ghosts, no doubt making any Harry Potter fans in the area do a double take as they skated past.

The Beauty and The Beast actor showed support for Tom as she promoted his upcoming American web series Origin, which the Draco Malfoy actor is starring in.

She wrote:

Tom’s @origin_series is out on 14th November. Congrats dear friend.

After seeing the former co-stars cosy up close on the skateboard, many of Emma’s followers jumped to the conclusion they must be more than friends.

One fan, desperate to see their relationship blossom, wrote:

Sooooo cute…pls fall in love guyssss [sic]

While another put the laughing face emoji and quotation marks to use to imply they were on to Emma’s cover-up, writing:

” friend ” [sic]

A third combined the name of their Harry Potter characters to create their couple name:

dramione fandom is quaking

In an interview with Seventeen, Emma admitted she did actually have a crush on her platinum-haired co-star at one point, explaining:

For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush.

He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.

Tom admitted the feelings weren’t mutual – though that might have been down to Emma punching him in the face in The Prisoner of Azkaban.

The actor recalled:

I remember in the second film when I knew this was going to happen I went up to her and told her to slap me (it was slap at the time), to rehearse it.

Course she just walked up and slapped me across the face. My male ego didn’t quite know what to do with it.

Somewhere between that and the third film it got a little bit more violent. Luckily she didn’t actually clock me with her fist. She’s got a bit of a mean right hook, Emma Watson.

At least they’ve swapped the punches for a more relaxing pastime!
