HBOIn case you missed it, Game of Thrones is back and the Westeross inhabitants are up to their old tricks again, all in their attempts to sit on a really uncomfortable throne.
Winter is here, and thus marks the return of silence-loving pirate, Euron Greyjoy, who has taken a break from terrorising the oceans. Instead he sailed the Iron Fleet to King’s Landing, answering the invitation of Cersei Lannister, the new Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Just a quick recap: Cersei suggests an allegiance between the crown and the Ironborn in the first episode of the new season, which Euron decides to story-top with a marriage proposal.
Cersei turns down his advances and he walks away. But old Euron isn’t one to leave with his tail between his legs. Ever unflappable, and verging on delusional, he promises to return with a ‘priceless gift’ that will win her heart.
The mysterious gift has set tongues wagging, and some fans have come up with a theory, as we are wont to do.
HBOAlthough many interpreted the gift as Cersei’s brother Tyrion, others – namely, those who have read the books – are unsure.
In the books, Euron owns a horn called ‘Dragonbinder’, a powerful object with the power to enslave dragons.
Given that Daenerys and her three dragons are currently looking like a pretty formidable foe for Cersei, you can understand why such a gift might seem attractive to the Lannisters…
