Love Island’s new Laura and new(ish) Jack – who’ve now coupled up – apparently knew each other before the show.
Jack Fowler – not to be confused with Dani Dyer’s boyfriend, Jack Fincham – entered the show a couple of weeks ago, and paired up with Laura Anderson – the air hostess, who’s been there since the start.
The pair coupled up and shared some ups and downs, but new arrivals in the villa caused Jack to turn his head, and he dumped Laura for Laura Crane – the surfer.
It’s really all very confusing.
Jack moved quickly with Laura, and then chose new Laura in the re-coupling. The pair went on a romantic date to the beach to find out more about one another.
However, a picture has emerged which suggests this ‘getting to know each other’ session might not have been necessary, as it seems Jack and Laura’s quick attraction might stem from a history the two have together.
One dedicated fan delved into the couple’s lives, and found potential evidence the two actually met before entering the villa.
The Love Island fan posted a picture to Twitter, where it appears both members of the couple starred in an advert for gym chain, David Lloyd.
The tweet read:
Ok wait, what? Laura and jack already new eachother? #LoveIsland #LoveIslandAftersun

Admittedly, ‘Laura’ is looking down in the photo, so it’s hard to say for certain if it’s actually the surfer or not, but some Love Island fans are convinced.

Other fans aren’t so sure about the image though.
Some had expressed their doubts over the image supposedly showing both ‘Laura’ and ‘Jack’, with some claiming it’s been photoshopped.
One said:
Pretty sure neither of those girls are Laura but okay…
Another added:
loool they’ve just added jacks head onto that geezas body looool his head huge

The picture might be evidence of a hidden past between the new couple, and if so, it wouldn’t be the first time the Love Island producers have kept contestants’ pasts quiet.
After Alexandra Cane entered the villa, photos emerged of her getting up close and personal with Islander, Megan Barton Hanson, in a music video.
The girls appeared in Giggs’ music video in 2016 – suggesting the pair go way back before the villa – but haven’t acknowledged their history at all on the show.
Check out the image below:
So Alexandra and Megan already knew each other as seen kissing in Giggs video ? but did they even acknowledge each other in the villa?! Lol #loveisland pic.twitter.com/ZyiudkHRqz

A preview of tonight’s episode, (July 23) shows the lie detector challenge is back, ready to test the contestant’s true intentions and reveal all their secrets.
Obviously, this would be the perfect opportunity to find out all about the various contestant’s potential hidden past relationships – but that would probably just cause more problems for the ITV producers, with people questioning why it’s been hidden all this time.
So maybe we’ll never know for sure if Laura and Jack have been photoshoot buddies in the past? Maybe they were both too busy tensing their abs and checking their hair to notice one another?
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
