Game of Thrones Season Six Spoilers! You’ve Been Warned!
Now Game of Thrones has literally gone off book it’s never been better but the last episode hinted at a fan favourite character who’s yet to appear on the show.
Many fans of the hit fantasy show have wondered for years whether Lady Stoneheart would make an on-screen appearance and it seems that the show’s teasing the undead Stark’s debut, Distractify reports.
For those not in the know Lady Stoneheart is the resurrected Catelyn Stark who’s brought back after the Red Wedding by the Red Priest Thoros and the Brotherhood Without Banners, those group of good-hearted soldiers we’ve not seen since Season Three.
Unfortunately for The Brotherhood Cat’s resurrection isn’t as easy as Jons and she comes back twisted and evil, seizing control of the group and warping them to her evil purposes. Basically revenge on all those who’ve wronged her, namely the Lannisters and Freys.
So far the show’s avoided Stoneheart but the last few episodes have teased that the Brotherhood have been attacking the Freys in the Riverlands, just like in the books.
Also last time we saw The Brotherhood they were looking out for the common folk, so it’s a bit out of character for them to attack a group of religious pacifists.
Except that the group lead by Septon Rey were giving asylum to a known Lannister collaborator, Sandor Clegane, surely that would annoy Stoneheart – if she’s in charge – enough to earn the group a death sentence.
Adding fire to the speculation is Jóhannes Haukur, who played one of the Brotherhood riders, who will return next episode as well.

While we’re not entirely convinced, the theme of Season Six has definitely been resurrection with Jon returning, The Starks reuniting and even The Hound, long believed dead, back.
So it’s not out of the realms of possibility that the deceased Catelyn could return, even if she’s got a slightly greyer complexion…
