Facebook / HBOFew things in 2017 have come even close to the highly anticipated arrival of Game of Thrones Season 7 – and now we, almost, have a premier date.
Posting to Facebook, Game of Thrones live broadcast a gargantuan icecube being ever so slowly melted. Inside the icecube lies a tablet with the premier date clearly visible.
But it gets better as you too can help join in the HBO revelation by merely commenting ‘FIRE’.
Every time a random commenter, including myself, writes ‘FIRE’ in the comment section the heat gets turned up – shooting fire at the ice cube and melting it even quicker thus forcing that beautiful premier date ever so slightly more visible.

Unfortunately the icecube was, and still is, absolutely Herculean – making the firey fire take a long old time to get some serious melting done. Anytime now…
I guess this is how I’ll spend the remainder of my night then. Waiting. Interminably waiting for the date of a show. Hoorah.
Weirdly the entire thing came to an end while the block of ice was still very much intact but then it came back!
Almost there Game of Thrones fans.
