Warning: Contains Spoilers
After last week’s notorious blunder of a clearly out of place coffee cup in a scene of Game of Thrones, it should come as no surprise that fans would keep their eyes out for another in last night’s episode.
Lo and behold, eagle-eyed fans with a penchant for blunders rejoiced when they noticed what might be yet another one.
While most people were simply taken aback by the amazing, cinematic scale of episode five (that you could actually see), The Bells, others were obviously keen to nitpick. And why wouldn’t they – the infamous coffee cup has been one of the main talking points in a very mixed season so far.
Check out the teaser for the next episode here:
The latest – debatable – blunder appeared when the Lannister twins, Cersei and Jaime, gave each other an emotional embrace after seemingly accepting their inevitable fate.
As they did, some fans pointed out the return of one Jaime’s appendages that has been missing since the third season.
See for yourself:
Jaime had his hand chopped off way back in season three, and replaced it with a cumbersome – though blingy – gold hand. However, as the above picture shows, some hardcore hand fans are wondering if that’s actually Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s real hand.
I’d say it could definitely be his golden hand still, just catching the light. But hey, people love a blunder.

Or is it?!
Meanwhile, as Daenerys wreaked havoc upon King’s Landing, there were no errant coffee cups in sight.
After the episode, HBO made the decision to quickly and quietly digitally remove the cup, so it won’t appear in any new airings of the episode on TV and streaming services.
They were also quick to point out that, contrary to popular belief, it was not a Starbucks cup that was perched on the table, but one from the ‘production’s craft services’, as The Wall Street Journal reported.
News from Winterfell.
The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. #Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea. pic.twitter.com/ypowxGgQRl

While we wait and see if the GoT editors will amend Jaime’s hand in the recent scene, it’s fair to the possible blunder won’t do as well as Starbucks did out of the last one, as the coffee giant reportedly made $2.3billion in free advertising from it all.
I wonder if I can make that much money from making a simple and honest missstake.
