Game of Thrones has a lot of characters, most of whom have died horribly, but some have become absolute cult favourites – such as Hodor.
Hodor’s huge stature, fierce Stark loyalty and limited vocabulary seemed to strike a chord with people who found him an touchingly sweet and almost comic relief from the show’s often bleak plots.
However, spoiler alert, in Season 6 Hodor’s loyalty is taken to the extreme and he sacrifices himself for his young friend, lord and occasional parasitic physic tormentor, Bran Stark.

However, while Hodor the character has left our screens for good, the Northern Irish actor Kristian Nairn seems to be living life to the full.
He recently shared a video of a night he DJ’d at Amnesia in Ibiza and his life looks pretty damn dope:
What a baller life Kristian seems to be living. He’s riding high on the Hodor fame but also making a living doing arguably one of the coolest possible jobs, a jet-setting DJ.
On the same trip he was also photographed at seriously impressing the crowds at Cafe Mambo:
It’s lovely to see a life after Game of Thrones for one of the series’ most beloved characters.
