James Corden was pulled over by police during filming for his Carpool Karaoke segment for The Late Late Show.

Alongside Corden was Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine.

As the pair started belting out Maroon 5’s She Will Be Loved, they were interrupted by the sound of sirens.

Watch the clip here:

Corden asks:

What do the police want?

He then rolls down the window to ask the officer what the problem is.

The officer replies:

I want to pull you over so he can sing a song for me… Because you can cause a traffic hazard.

In a previous skit with Sting and Shaggy, Corden filmed Carpool Karaoke in the New York subway.

Explaining why filming was taking place on a train, Corden said:

When we’re in Los Angeles we do karaoke in the carpool lane. But here in New York they do things a little differently.

That’s why I’m here with Sting and Shaggy to put a little spin on Carpool Karaoke.

This is Subway Carpool Karaoke

The three of them start a performance of Every Breath You Take before some angry construction worker shouts: ‘Hey, fellas! Knock it off, you’re annoying everyone on the train!’

Corden hits back saying:

No we’re doing a carpool karaoke special in New York.

The worker retaliates, telling him: ‘I don’t care, shut the f*ck up!’

You then see Sting and Shaggy, and Corden with his nose bleeding. The three of them then break out into Shaggy’s classic It Wasn’t Me.

Corden has seen big stars in his car, from the likes of One Direction, to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry.

But there’s one person who turned down the opportunity.

Corden said he was filming an 80s version of the skit which would see him driving a DeLorean, and would be singing with some stars from that era.

Apparently, nobody informed singer Bryan Adams of what was expected of him, and after initially turning up, Adams ‘bolted’.

According to ShortList, Corden said:

What happened was, for the anniversary of Back to the Future, we were gonna do a sort of, ‘Best of the ‘80s Carpool Karaoke.’ And we had booked — in a DeLorean — and we booked Bryan Adams, right, to come and do the thing, and we were very excited.

I love Bryan Adams, he’s got hits for days, he’s terrific. I don’t know that Bryan’s management had told Bryan that it was a sort of a collaboration with lots of other singers from that time period.

Bryan’s walked in, seen the list of other people that have done it, turned around, walked, and got in his car and left. I’ve never seen – I’ve never heard from him. He just bolted. He was gone.

I kind of understand it. I get it, and I hold no grudge.
