Jeepers Creepers 3/Myriad PicturesI watched the original Jeepers Creepers when I was way too young, and the bit where Darry (Justin Long) finds himself in the Creeper’s sick underground corpse-cathedral still makes me shudder.
Even now, as a seasoned horror watcher, the suspense driven 2001 film has a creepy hold on me which I just can’t shake.
For those who have yet to be introduced to the Creeper, this is an ancient being which rises from it’s filthy lair every 23rd spring to harvest human body parts for it’s gruesome collection.

The desolate Florida countryside with its lonely roads, open fields and abandoned churches provided a haunting hunting ground for the winged monster who was, and still is, so much more terrifying than many of today’s CGI creations.

In spite of it’s evident faults, you can’t say the Creeper isn’t energetic!
Now we’re getting the third installment, which will take place in the very short time period between the events of the first and second films.

Gina Phillips will reprise her character Trish from the first film, who we last saw watching her brother being snatched away by the Creeper up into the night sky.
The mysterious IMDb film synopsis says:
On the last day of the Creeper’s twenty-three day feeding frenzy, sceptical Sargent Tubbs teams up with a task force hell-bent on destroying the Creeper for good.
The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins.

So, just like the Creeper, you’ll have to use the limited time you have wisely.
