The levels of anticipation for the follow up to Avengers: Infinity War can be best measured by the levels of anticipation for its trailer.
People have spent the last week waiting for it to drop, but to no avail. In fact, it feels like half the internet has been tearing itself apart about the fate of the Marvel Universe since big old Thanos wiped out half of said universe at the end of Infinity War.
It would just be nice to get the trailer so we can stop referring to it as Avengers 4, that’s the thing which really grinds my gears. Who knows, maybe those cheeky folk at Marvel Studios will just post the preview and leave us hanging without a title? If they do that I’m claiming credit for it. Don’t know why nobody’s done it before – it’d get people talking about. It’s all about getting people talking about it.
東京コミコン、ジェレミー・レナー『今日は弓を持ってきていないんだ。アベンジャーズ4では見られるはずだよ。何が起こるかは言えなけどね。数日のうちには見られるはずだ」

Anyway, with the release date still 144 days away, the hunger for Avengers action is reaching titanic levels and according to Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner, footage of the new film is coming in some form or another in the next couple of days.
The minor caveat being he’ll be seeing footage in the next couple of days, Comicbook.com report.
Renner, whose arrow slinging Avenger was conspicuously absent from Infinity War, was speaking in a panel event at the Tokyo Comic Con.
He said:
But I will be seeing some of it actually in a few days and I can’t wait not to tell you what happens.
Can’t tell you anything.
Renner is set to reprise his role as Clint Barton in Avengers 4 and according to Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, there are big plans for Hawkeye in the future.
Feige said:
We [at Marvel] love Hawkeye. There are big, big story things coming up for Hawkeye and Jeremy Renner is as strong an actor as anyone in the MCU and awesome as this character.
But ‘the guy with the bow and arrow jokes,’ right? There are a lot of ‘guy with bow and arrow jokes.’ He even makes ‘guy with a bow and arrow’ jokes in some of the movies. So I love that people go from ‘Oh, Hawkeye is just lucky to be there,’ to ‘Oh, where is he? He’s not there? What’s going to happen? We need Hawkeye. We want more Hawkeye.’ I love it. It’s the best.
One theory doing the rounds is the latest instalment of the MCU will see Clint Barton come out of hiding and into his Ronin persona (not the Robert De Niro film).
Jeremy Renner was papped (presumably on the set to Avengers 4 and not on his way home from the gym), in a black get up with some funky leg pads.
im so shook you don't even know. Marvel better not screw up the Ronin storyline or i'll cry pic.twitter.com/93IBHGfPud

In the Marvel comics event Avengers Disassembled the Scarlet Witch loses control of her telekinetic powers, killing Hawkeye. This is followed by the event House Of M where her powers have gone so out of control, she’s altered reality to fit the vision of her villainous mutant father, Magneto. In the process, she brings Hawkeye back to life.
After the events of Civil War Barton reveals to the world he’s still alive, taking on the moniker Ronin for a few years before returning as Hawkeye…
Can’t wait for the trailer just so we’ve got more stuff to theorise about for the next four months.
Avengers 4 will be released in the UK from April 26, 2019, and in the US on May 3, 2019.
