Actor and WWE star John Cena told Nikki Bella he’d be willing to go through a painful surgery so they could have kids.
On the latest episode of Total Bellas WWE’s franchise star told his fiancé, he’d be willing to undo a vasectomy, a procedure which has prevented him from having children previously.
Big match John broke the news to Nikki when the former couple were still together, during an intimate candlelit dinner.
Filmed before the two called off their engagement earlier this year, John told Nikki he was willing to ‘sacrifice’ everything to give her ‘a child’.
Speaking to Nikki on last Sunday’s episode of Total Bellas, on the E! Network, John told her:
I wanna marry you and relationship and marriage especially, is about sacrifice, and I will make that sacrifice for you. I will give you a child.
Nikki then told her former finacé ‘But you have the…’, alluding to the fact he’s had something done to prevent him from having children.
The 16-time WWE Champion responded by saying:
I know. I physically can’t have kids. So, I’m also telling you that I’m willing to have surgery and then still go through with being a dad.
Floored by his commitment to her, she leaps across the table and into his arms, later confessing to the camera:
I think I’m gonna leave here as a fiancée.
The episode was filmed before the two called time on their relationship back in April, just weeks before their May 5 wedding date.
Over the weekend, Nikki took to Instagram Live to tell her followers, she and John are just ‘good friends’ currently going through ‘a hard time’.
The WWE superstar also hit back at those who are sceptical at the two’s current relationship status, with some claiming the breakup was fake and for publicity.
She stressed her and John’s issues were very much real, not media hype.
Earlier this month, her twin sister, Brie Bella, told E! News Nikki and John were ‘working on’ their relationship and how the pair needed ‘time’.
In May, Cena appeared on the US breakfast show Today. He spoke about the breakup in a heartbreaking interview – showing the iconic WWE wrestler in a manner previously unseen.
Check out the footage below:
In the interview, Cena talks about his ex-girlfriend – claiming he’ll do whatever it takes to get her back.
More specifically he says:
I had my heart broken out of nowhere, for me it was out of nowhere, and anyone who experiences that knows that it comes with a series of bad feelings.
For anyone out there speculating what I’m doing with my life now, I still love Nicole, I would still love to marry Nicole, I still would like to have a family with Nicole. There was an unfortunate set of circumstances where our relationship ended.
There’s been a lot of speculation recently about me being seen in public and everyones thinking ‘oh John Cena’s enjoying the single life’. No. I was supposed to be married and have a honeymoon over these two weeks, it’s the first time in 15 years I’ve taken a vacation, and I’m in my house alone surrounded by these emotionally strong memories.
I don’t want anybody else. I love Nicole and I’m really trying to support her and trying to find whatever it is she wants, what made us fall apart in the first place, and in doing so I’m also trying to live but uhh I don’t have any other hopes other than maybe that one day we can work it out.
I’m still waiting for the moment WWE reveals the whole John Cena-Nikki Bella breakup ‘thing’ is all part of some elaborate storyline which will culminate at WrestleMania where he wins her love back in a Fatal-Four-Way main event between him, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles and Booman Roman Reigns.
And then they get married, Cena retires from wrestling, and they live happily ever after.
