On top of being the ‘greatest living rockstar on the planet’ and 2020 President of America, Kanye West now has his sights set on being a Hollywood actor in a galaxy far far away.

The rapper is such a fan of the Star Wars franchise that he has put himself forward for a part in one of the new spin-offs (whether they want him or not).

Yeezy is a huge Obi-Wan Kenobi fan but his nickname that he loves being called is Mannequin Skywalker.

Disney bought the rights to the franchise from George Lucas for £3.2 billion in 2012 and bosses have plans for at least two more films.

The next episode, due for release will be titled ‘The Last Jedi‘, while a Han Solo spin-off is rumoured to be released in 2018 will include later Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson in the cast.

The film after that though, which is set for release in 2020 (when Kanye said he would run for presidency) has not begun casting and a senior production executive has not ruled out Mr West’s inclusion, the Daily Star reports.

The executive said to the Daily Star:

We’re open to all ideas. Nothing is beyond the realms of possibility.

A source close to the 39-year-old rapper and father, said:

Quite a few of his fashion designs have been inspired by Star Wars and he’ll often throw a long coat over his shoulders when he goes out that makes it look as if he’s wearing Obi-Wan’s robe.

It’s a standing joke that one of his nicknames is Mannequin Skywalker and he actually likes being called that.

He’s watched all the movies many times and he regards George Lucas as the greatest genius Hollywood has ever seen.

Apparently Kanye West is happy to make a humble start in the Hollywood world and would settle for even a small part in Star Wars…isn’t he a martyr.
