Melisandre was right – the night is dark and full of terrors. But nothing prepared us for the horror of a beardless Kit Harrington.

First Drake shocked the world by shaving his beard off and now Kit has followed suit with the razor.

The 29-year-old Game of Thrones star showed the world his bare faced new look after performing in West End play Doctor Faustus this week, The Daily Mail reported.

It’s a strange part of celebrity culture that we get weirdly attached to star’s hairstyles. But I can’t help but agree with people’s anguish at this new look for Kit.

The world found out about the baby-face make-over after Kit shared a shaved selfie with excited fans outside of his West End show in London:

Doesn’t he know winter is coming? It’s cold up North. Does this mean Jon Snow might be moving South in Westeros? Would the wildlings even follow a ‘beardless-boy’ into battle?
