The end is nigh Love Island fans as it has been confirmed that the show’s finale will take place on Monday July 24.
Get that date booked in your diary folks as we are promised a dramatic conclusion to what has been a rather eventful series.
At the end of each series the couple with the most votes from the public get the opportunity to walk away with £50,000 that is shared between them.
In previous years if one of the winning pair chooses not to share the cash, they get to keep it all to themselves while the other is left with nothing.
But presenter Caroline Flack may have just given away that a shock twist is coming as there will be a ‘change’ to this series’ finale.
During an interview on Sunday Brunch, she was grilled about the show.

When asked about whether the couple can share the money, Caroline said:
Well if you saw it last year, for the couple, yeah – it gets to the point where you can… erm, actually it might change this year, so I’d better not say!
What a tease!
Looks like this twist is going to be kept under wraps unless Caroline can’t keep her mouth shut.
Last year Cara and her then-boyfriend Nathan walked away with the prize money deciding to split it.
They have since broken up but Cara is pregnant with his child.
The two favourites to win this year’s series are Camilla and Gabriella.
But we will just have to wait and see. The tension is real!
