Antony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, Posh and Becks – some of the world’s most famous couples.

Now that list is set to have another addition in the form of two reality TV stars.

Love it or hate it, Love Island seems to have produced a couple that have won the hearts of viewers up and down the country.

A former pop-star and a down-to-earth Liverpudlian, better known as Marcel and Gabby, look set to win this year’s Love Island reality show.

The couple have been inseparable since meeting – well apart from the challenge where they were forced to live apart – and bookies have made them odds-on favourite to win.

Now it looks as though ‘Garcel’ could even go a step further as reports suggest the pair will be offered their own reality spin-off series.

Despite the small tensions between the pair in recent episodes, TV producers are extremely interested in following the pair in their post-villa lives.

According to reports in The Sun:

There has been a lot of interest in Gabby and Marcel having their own reality series.

Bosses think it would be a massive hit and are hoping the pair agree.

Tensions started when Gabby wasn’t pleased with Marcel’s antics when he was in Casa Amor – he kissed two girls and was photographed with his hand on another girl’s knee, but Gabby is also suffering from insecurity issues and was visibly upset in the latest episode.

How does the old Shakespearian saying go, the course of true love never did run smooth…
