As the UK bathes in soaring summer temperatures, it’s easier than ever to picture yourself in the Love Island villa, except for, y’know, the frequent re-coupling thing.
However, it seems like the high temperatures and couples drama is going to continue for the hot-blooded islanders, as the show has confirmed its biggest shake-up so far.
In a move that’s sure to stir the pot, Love Island‘s male contestants are going to move to a second villa, where five new female contestants will be waiting, The Sun reports.
Insiders have reportedly confirmed that Casa Amor is going to be back in action in the next few days, as new contestants have already been flown out to Mallorca.
The twist means the current couples will be split up and forced to live apart.
A source told The Sun:
Having the second villa packed with five hot females is going to cause fireworks.
This series has been so exciting and the show’s bosses are pulling out all the stops to make sure this twist causes a lot of trouble.
They’ve started flying out a number of girls to Majorca where they’re waiting in a hotel to find out if they’ve made the final cut.
The producers, however, are picking the contestants carefully.
The source added:
Bosses are vetting them all really carefully because they want to put in girls who’ll cause the most drama.
Regular viewers may remember last year’s series, when the boys were taken to the other villa to see if they could resist the temptation of the new contestants.
Another insider said:
Once in the villa, the boys are going to be tested to see if they would stay faithful to their partners or whether they’d have their heads turned.
Jack’s ex-girlfriend Ellie Jones will be waiting there for him and she’s made it clear she wants to win him back.
So time alone together could be the end of him and Dani.
The move to another villa could be just what the guys need after a tumultuous week that has already seen a number of splits and heartbreak happen.
However, after Jack popped a very romantic question to Dani, the shift won’t be welcomed by all. Despite a rocky start to their relationship, Jack and Dani are arguably the most stable couple in the Love Island villa.
The pair are currently favourites to win the show after their public displays of affection and discussing their future. Jack even gushed to barmaid Dani she’s ‘everything he wants in a girlfriend’ while she told him they were ‘best friends’.
The introduction of Jack’s ex-girlfriend, therefore, is sure to spark some drama. Especially as he has already admitted to cheating on his ex.
While it was rumoured that Jack’s ex-girlfriend Keeley MacGuire was to enter the villa, it has now been reported that it’s actually Ellie who will be looking to stir things up instead and look to wriggle her way back into Jack’s life.
I can’t wait to see what both Dani and Danny Dyer have to say about that.
