Love Island’s Megan And New Girl Alexandra ‘Kiss’ In Previously Unseen Footage

Megan and Alexandra from Love Island have met before this year’s show – and they’ve even been up close and personal. 

Love Island’s newest contestant Alexandra Cane entered the villa on Wednesday evening (July 11), and fans were quick to find out everything they could about her life.

While Alex, Kieran and Idris are all going head to head to share more kisses with new girl Alexandra, it’s been revealed that Megan beat them to the intimacy.

The girls both appear in a 2016 music video by Giggs.

Despite Megan and Alexandra not mentioning it on the show, this video shows the pair have actually met before.

Not only have they met, they’ve even done something that, if it had happened in the Love Island villa, would have undoubtedly caused drama.

Although let’s be honest, people sitting next to each other on Love Island is cause for drama.

In the music video by Giggs, Alexandra and Megan can be seen getting up close and personal, leaning into each other and going in for a kiss.

The two girls were also pictured together at a festival last year, suggesting their music video rendezvous wasn’t their only meeting.

With two days’ worth of villa footage gathered since Alexandra’s arrival, ITV have not aired any scenes on the show that indicate the pair are acknowledging their history.

The suspicious situation surrounding Alexandra and Megan has caused fans to accuse ITV of ‘fixing’ Love Island, as well as fans accusing the girls of trying to manipulate their images on the reality show.

One fan wrote:

Megan and Alexandra know each other outside the villa but haven’t spoken once since she’s arrived.. is Love Island a set up after all.

Another added:

So Alexandra and Megan already knew each other as seen kissing in Giggs video but did they even acknowledge each other in the villa?! Lol #loveisland

A third wrote:

Last night’s episode of Love Island (July 12) ended on a cliffhanger, with Alexandra set to choose between Alex, Idris and Kieran to couple up with. Her decision will end the two unsuccessful bachelors’ time in the villa.

Let’s be honest, despite some interesting displays during the fireman challenge in last night’s episode, we’re all rooting for Alex. Idris and Kieran haven’t been there long enough for us to form an emotional connection.

With this new revelation of Alexandra and Megan’s past, however, fans have been predicting a big plot twist in tonight’s episode.

One fan suggested Alexandra would couple up with Megan instead of any of the boys, writing:

#LoveIsland Plot twist as Alexandra couples up with Megan tonight and finally admits to already knowing her, instead of pretending she doesn’t.

Despite the show being branded as a ‘fix’, fans still tune in every night to find out the latest gossip.

It seems that after spending almost six weeks following the lives of the contestants, viewers are reluctant to give up now even if the show is ‘set up’. Whether it’s real or not, we just can’t get enough of the drama.
