Even Mountain Dew is willing to sacrifice everything in this grisly Game of Thrones, even their trademark lime-coloured container.

The soft drink company is the latest in a long list of Game of Thrones collaborators, capitalising on the upcoming release of season eight.

You can watch the trailer – as if you haven’t seen it a thousand times – below:

Elsewhere in Westeros, the folks over at Mountain Dew have just unveiled their new campaign; ‘A Can Has No Name’.

Mountain Dew designed a special edition can that when chilled goes from an icy white faceless mask to reveal everyone on Arya Stark’s kill list.

Watch it in action here:

There’s a special way to get your mitts on one of the cans, but it’s basically a task as challenging as getting through the Great War alive.

The only downside is this special limited edition can housing the beverage will not be available for public purchase and can be found via a scavenger hunt set to take place in both New York and LA.

Clues to the locations and special passwords will be shared via Mountain Dew’s social media accounts.

The passwords must then be given to the Masters of Coin at the Dew destinations which will then allow fans to redeem the special can from an Ice Vending machine.

For those residing outside of the aforementioned locations, all you have to do is head over to either Mountain Dew’s Instagram or Twitter page and let them know what you would sacrifice for one with the hashtags, #ACanHasNoName and #ForTheThrone.

Winners will then be shipped one of their very own Cans That Have No Name.

Just in case merch, fan fiction and unusual theories wasn’t enough to scratch your Game of Thrones itch after the Iron Throne is won, an official Game of Thrones documentary will be released the week after the finale airs.

Game of Thrones has been beaming incest, politics and death into your living rooms since 2011. The HBO hit has been distracting us from the global shitshow ever since and, needless to say, many are sad to see it end.

But, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel to quench any withdrawal symptoms you may experience and it comes in the form of a behind-the-scenes documentary titled The Last Watch. Weep.

The final season of Game of Thrones airs April 14 on HBO. A Game of Thrones: The Last Watch documentary will follow after the series finale.
