No One Noticed The Hidden Clue From This Scene In Game Of Thrones

This Article Is Dark And Contains Some Spoilers

Everyone is talking about THAT Game of Thrones cameo, and how Ed Sheeran has deleted his Twitter account as a result.

Definitely just a coincidence. No unnecessary Twitter abuse there…

Anyway, while us normies are busy talking about that horrible scene, the devout GoT underworld of Reddit has been spending the last day or so dissecting every scene and shot for clues about the future of our favourite fantasy fuck-fest.

One such user is Beastmodekait who has discovered the reasoning behind why -SPOILER WARNING- Jorah has somehow wound up in Oldtown with good ol’ Sam.

Jorah’s had a bit of a bad time of it recently, after declaring his love for Dany and being exiled. Not to mention he’s got the worst disease in the Game of Thrones universe. So there’s that.

And that’s why, says Beastmodekait, he is in Oldtown – to get cured of his greyscale.

Now, this is near impossible, but it seems Sam has been doing a little research in the library like the good old nerd that he is.

In this picture, you can see that the book he was reading relates to the use of dragonglass to cure diseases including greyscale!

And this actually makes perfect sense when you think about the history of the show and some of it’s unluckiest characters.

HBO

Let’s start with the big man Benjen Stark, who disappeared from the Wall ages ago only to return last season to help Bran and Meera get to safety.

It transpires that the Children of the Forest stabbed a big piece of drangonglass into his chest to save his life after he was nearly killed by White Walkers.

So we definitely know that dragonglass has immense healing properties.

There’s also poor little Shireen, who was suffering from the exact same disease as Jorah for most of her life.

Her dad Stannis used all the best Maesters in the land to have her healed, but one thing that people don’t mention is that she lived in Dragonstone. Her home was literally situated on top of a major stash of dragonglass.

Now that means that she could’ve been exposed to it over a long period of time, or it means that one of the maesters found out about the healing properties and *boom* – Shireen was healed.

Not that it mattered in the end.

So it might just be that if Sam keeps up his nerdy ways and gets his way right into that restricted section then he could well find the best way to heal Jorah and restore him to full health.

It’d be good to see him back to full badass levels.
