Noel Edmonds has gone on a bizarre Twitter rant about cancer of all things, claiming he’s got a device which can cure the deadly disease.

The Deal or No Deal front-man claimed that a device called an ‘EMPad’ can help reduce your chances of developing cancer – and his fans on Twitter weren’t pleased.

Noel tweeted:

Just looked at latest stats showing very soon 50% of us will get cancer. @EMP_Pad is one way of reducing your risk #selfhealth.

Noel’s followers were quick to call him out on his bullshit, however, with one saying ‘spouting this kind of nonsense is irresponsible and ignorant and can cause harm and suffering,’ while others threatened to complain to Advertising Standards.

Meanwhile, The Daily Star reports that when a cancer sufferer told Noel to ‘stick to quiz shows,’ the presenter claimed that it’s a scientific fact that disease is caused by negative energy, before asking: “Is it possible your ill health is caused by your negative attitude?”

The once-popular TV host has been preaching about the EMPad on twitter for a few days now, but despite people presuming he’s been paid for the tweets, the company’s director denied that it was sponsored content.

The device that he’s preaching about is used for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) which the company claim aids faster injury recovery, to treat chronic pain and depression.

It does not cure cancer, Noel.
