A waiter from Pakistan has just landed his first acting job thanks to his uncanny resemblance to Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage.

Until a few months ago, 26-year-old Rozi Khan wasn’t aware Dinklage even existed, the actor famous for playing Tyrion Lannister in HBO’s hit show Game of Thrones.

However, Khan’s life changed when the son of the restaurant owner he works for noticed the uncanny resemblance, sharing a picture on Facebook which went viral.

Speaking to Reuters, Khan said:

In the beginning, they started calling me Peter Dinklage. After that, I saw his movie, and then slowly, slowly I became famous.

My wish is to work in movies. And my other wish is to meet Peter Dinklage.

I want to make a movie there [in the United States] and I want to co-star in a movie with Peter Dinklage.

One day Khan may achieve his dream having just landed his first acting job, starring in a television advert for delivery service Cheetay.

You can watch the commercial here:

Filled with references to Game of Thrones, the advert stars Khan dressed as Tyrion, complete with wig and scar.

The delivery service reached out to Khan after pictures of him went viral online, kicking off his acting career.

As reported by the MailOnline, in an interview earlier this year Khan revealed he now gets stopped in the street by people wanting to take photos.

He added:

I don’t mind. A lot of my pictures have been taken, that’s why I have become very famous everywhere.

Wherever I go, someone says to me: ‘Sir, who is this man with you on Facebook’, I say that he is my friend. ‘He looks like you.’ I tell them he is my brother. It’s not a bad thing.

I love him very much, he is my friend… he is my height so I like him a lot.

Like Dinklage, Khan was born with achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism.

Dinklage is currently starring in the final season of Game of Thrones on HBO, promising in an interview with Entertainment Tonight last year it has a ‘brilliant’ ending.

Teasing what will happen to his character Tyrion, Dinklage said:

There are no better writers in television than [showrunners] Dan Weiss and David Benioff. They ended it brilliantly. Better than I could have imagined and you people are in for it.

It ends beautifully for my character whether it be tragic or not.

Thankfully we haven’t got long to wait now as the final episode approaches.

Season eight of Game of Thrones is now showing on Sky Atlantic and HBO. The final episode airs on May 19.
