The ‘joyous celebration of talent’ *cough cough* that is The X Factor is yet again facing claims that the show is a fix.
Angry viewers have claimed the acts were not singing live on Saturday night’s show, taking to Twitter to air their accusations, reports The Sun.
Fans accused the acts of either miming their auditions or having their voices auto-tuned in post-production, with many convinced the show had pre-recorded the vocals and then lip-synced their performance for the judges.
It sounded as if they were miming? I mean, the music overpowered the singing. #XFactor

Been watching #Xfactor again and it's clear that 3am are miming. Utter shambles this series. Time to put this show to bed Simon. Joke!

A spokesperson for The X Factor said the claims were untrue, telling The Sun:
Everyone who auditions for The X Factor sings live in front of the judges and no one’s vocals are autotuned.
But not everyone thought the performances were too good to be true. Judge Nicole Scherzinger told the lads from boyband 5am that they still had work to do.
She reckoned singing and dancing at the same time had led the boys to put in a substandard vocal performance.
But it turns out that 5am may have a slight edge in the contest in the from of Kieran Alleyne.
Kieran has already released his own album, gained millions of online views and starred on both TV and in the West End.
He also had a recording contract with Virgin Records and Universal Music with his debut album Breaking Good praised by critics as an ‘extraordinary body of work’.
Does he need to be there? Do any of them? Does it even need to be on TV? Discuss…
