Perri Kiely was just a kid when his dance troupe Diversity won the 2009 series of Britain’s Got Talent, famously beating favourite Susan Boyle in the final.
Now 23, Perri is still a loyal, long-term member of Diversity, with the group enjoying enormous success beyond BGT. He is also, of course, a fully grown adult, a fact which has proved hard for some fans to digest.
Even though Perri has made numerous telly appearances as a grown-up (Celebs Go Dating and Splash! to name just a couple), many people still picture him as the sweet little kid with the glasses dancing on stage in front of the judges.
However, this image has been shattered forever after an explosively ripped picture emerged of Perri looking extremely gymmed.
The photograph in question shows Perri standing by a sunny pool in Mykonos, Greece, alongside fellow Diversity dancers, Ashley and Jordan Banjo. And eyes were popping all over the show at the sight of Perri’s washboard abs.
Ashley had shared the pic to Instagram on June 22, and expressed his own amused shock at the once pint-sized Perri’s built bod:
Classic little throwback to when people realised @realperrikiely wasn’t in year 5 anymore Can’t wait to get away again soon man.. Good Times Where is good to go? #throwback #holidayvibes
It’s nearly impossible to believe this is the very same person who other Diversity dancers could chuck around like a beanbag just 10 years ago.
Fans have responded with shock and amazement at this new, Terminator-style Perri who looks like he could now pick up both Ant and Dec at the same time with ease.
One person gasped:
Bloody Hell, I wasn’t prepared for this! My cuppa went everywhere, and I’m on my break at work!
Another said:
Are you guys actually trying to give a ton of women heart attack’s?? There’s only so much women can take. And this might be too much.
This isn’t the first time fans have been left flabbergasted by Perri’s muscly physique.
Back in March, Ashley Instagrammed a pic of he and Perri working out together, along with the following caption:
Firstly apologies for the mid training hair… But more Importantly can you believe I used to throw this guy around!?
Clearly Perri is putting plenty of work into his gym regime, and all power to him.
