There is honestly no other show on earth which warms the cockles of my heart as much as Queer Eye.
Speaking as a somewhat messy person in need of a bit of ‘self care’, there is nothing quite like seeing lives and wardrobes change after a visit from the Fab Five.
I don’t want to imagine my summer without a fresh batch of Queer Eye episodes to keep me cheering and happy-crying through the (hopefully) sunny evenings ahead. And luckily I won’t have to.
Season four of Queer Eye will return on July 19, 2019, bringing a touch of style and motivation as we dig out our beach gear.
The last season only dropped in March. However, it honestly feels like forever since we saw Bobby transform a house as if by magic, or heard Karamo’s sage words of advice.
Netflix announced the news via Twitter, leaving viewers as excited as Jonathan when faced with a full head of hair to shape.
Meanwhile, the official Queer Eye Twitter account gave the following news to fans:
Have you missed us? (We missed you too.) We’re back in Kansas City for Season 4, July 19
One fan screamed:
THANK YOU SWEET LORD ABOVE I THOUGHT WE WOULD HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER YEAR I CANT WAIT TO SEE MY FAVOURITE GAYS AGAIN.
Another wept:
Bring on more joyful tears, love these boys.
As of yet, we don’t know exactly what emotional breakthroughs and Cinderella-style sessions of retail therapy await us. We also don’t know whether or not we will ever be able to stop clapping at the results.
However, we do know this season will take us back to Kansas City, meaning there will be no doubt be plenty of opportunities for Antoni to whip out some delicious BBQ recipes.
Thankfully, it appears there will be no stopping Queer Eye any time soon, with the gang set to bring their uplifting take on the makeover show beyond the US.
Later in the year, we will see the boys head over to Japan for a mini series entitled Queer Eye: We’re In Japan!
As reported by Deadline, creator and executive producer of Queer Eye David Collins has made the following comments:
In just a year since we launched season one, Queer Eye has become a global phenomenon once again and the Fab Five are truly the ambassadors of self-care and compassion that the world needs now more than ever.
Filming in Japan is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with four deserving heroes that will help showcase the incredible traditions and customs of their country.
Even more excitingly, season five has also been confirmed, with production for the season beginning as of June 24, 2019. This season will see the Fab Five filming in Philadelphia and will reportedly air at some point in 2020. Yas queen!
Queer Eye will return to Netflix for its fourth season on July 19, 2019.
