Hold onto your butts. Samuel L. Jackson is sick of this goddam President, in this goddam Oval Office, and he made his feelings clear with his usual flair for words.
Writing on Twitter yesterday (January 7), the BAFTA and Film Critic Award-winning actor, who singlehandedly popularised the insult ‘motherf*cker’ in his movies, declared President Donald Trump is indeed a ‘Muthafukkah’, as a congresswoman had previously suspected.
The 45th president had been doled out the insult – usually reserved for snakes on planes – by Representative Rashida Tlaib, during a speech in which she called for the impeachment of the current POTUS.
Last week, after being sworn in as Michigan’s newest Democratic representative, Tlaib used the profanity in reference to President Donald Trump while speaking to a crowd of her supporters.
Tlaib said:
And when your son looks at you and says, ‘Mama, look, you won. Bullies don’t win,’ and I said, ‘Baby, they don’t,’ because we’re gonna go in there and we’re going to impeach the motherf*cker.
Of course, the Democrat of Michigan, was criticised by Trump supporters.
Trump – who himself you might recall once delighted in retelling his pussy-grabbing antics in what has to be the worst verbal cesspit of modern politics – called her language ‘disgraceful’ in this mud-flinging match.
But within the three-ringed circus that is American politics these days, who can really be surprised at anything anymore?
Tlaib – the first Palestinian-American congresswoman – defended her right to speak frankly on Twitter when she said she would ‘always speak truth to power’ and then used the hashtag ‘#unapologeticallyMe’ last week (January 4).
To continue the show, and sprinkle it all with a little celebrity glitterati, as politicians themselves so often want to do, Jackson weighed in and endorsed Tlaib’s recycling of his trademark phrase.

Jackson, including a wonderfully lengthy hashtag, wrote:
I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Mothef*cking goal last week [sic]
Calling that Muthafukkah a Motherf*cker is not an issue,calling that Muthaffuqah President Is!!! #motherfuckeristoogoodtowasteonthatcankersore [sic]
While endorsing Tlaib’s use of the word, Jackson instead opts to dub Trump a ‘canker sore’, which is somehow much worse… And the internet thus knew his name is the Lord after he lay his vengeance upon Trump.
Jackson had long been a vocal supporter of the 44th president, Barack Obama, and campaigned for his election in 2008, before publicly expressing his disillusionment with the Obama administration later in 2013.
The 70-year-old Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction and The Hateful Eight star told Playboy he thought Obama needed to ‘stop trying to relate’ and ‘be fucking presidential’.
It seems there’s no one Jackson won’t drop an F-bomb on and it’s really the mood with which we’re all heading into the political landscape of 2019 with, isn’t it?
As for Trump, he’ll continue to exploit the issue of immigration for his own political gain today (Tuesday January 8), in a prime-time Oval Office address, which marks the continuation of his crusade for a border wall.
God help America.
