Samuel L Jackson has just claimed he wants to be in Peaky Blinders and our hopes have gone into overdrive.

The actor-who is an unbelievable 68-years-old – has just revealed he’d love to do a British TV programme and his show of choice would be Peaky Blinders.

It would be a bit of a change for the mega-star who’s used to doing major box-office smashers, to appear on the set of a rainy old UK TV series, but fair play to him.

The Kong: Skull Island star is clearly a fan of the Brummie show though and wants to be a part of the action.

He said:

I want to do some British TV. I’d love to be in Peaky Blinders. That’s a great show.

This could be just the addition the show needs and it is a great series, especially as it stars the super talented Cillian Murphy.

The sultry, gangster programme has already enjoyed a successful three series and is set to celebrate a fourth later on this air, with another in the pipeline.

Original dramas are not the only thing Samuel’s interested in, as it seems he’s got a keen taste for British comedy.

He continued with:

I love British humour. I’ve always loved Monty Python, Little Britain, all that stuff.

If you ask most Americans about British comedy they’ll go, ‘Ah yeah, Benny Hill’s hilarious’. That’s their definition of British humour.

This is who Should Have Won Best Actor tonight, Sunny Pawar of Lion! Totally Killed It!!

If producers behind Peaky Blinders listen to Samuel’s requests, then perhaps we will see him in the next series, which will be his first UK TV show appearance in 12 years.

Well if it’s good enough for the likes of Cillian, then why not get another major Hollywood player involved too?

Fingers crossed this happens, this could be a dream come true.
