Everyone’s favourite Geordie, Scarlett Moffatt, may be about to pocket a hefty pay packet when she leaves the jungle as TV companies and fashion brands battle it out to take her on.
According to the Mirror, as I write these words, ITV and Channel 4 are clashing hard in a bidding war to sign the 26-year-old with some reports claiming she could be given around £1 million pounds!
Durham born and bred, Scarlett was loved across the country after she became known for frequenting the living room and sitting in front of the TV with her mam and dad on Gogglebox.
But it is down under in Australia where she has really come out of her shell as a down to earth and witty gal – melting hearts on every corner of the globe.
It’s no wonder TV bosses are desperate to sign her up.
A source said of the matter:
Scarlett is passionate about a career in TV. Both Channel 4 and ITV have shown interest. She’s a complete natural in front of the camera. She’s got the gift of the gab, as has been obvious the entire series, and the networks realise what a draw-pull this is.
She’s got a lot to mull over. She’s in a brilliant position because there’s a lot of interest in her right now, and she isn’t taking anything for granted.
With I’m A Celeb finishing off tonight Scarlett is set to receive £70,000 for her participation alone which is certainly appealing for three weeks work.
However with the release of her fitness book on Boxing Day, and other endorsements, appearances and media deals it looks like she’s going to be swimming in a deep sea of cash quicker than you can say ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here‘.
