Since being crowned ‘Queen of the Jungle’ Scarlett Moffatt has been busy landing herself a string of extremely lucrative deals…
The former Gogglebox star turned TV presenter has already begun a stint on Ant and Dec ’s Saturday Night Takeaway, as well as co-hosting the prestigious National Television Awards.
In fact, the 26-year-old is proving so popular among the TV watching public, that she’s already been signed up to replace Davina McCall on a new series of Streetmate, and has even filmed a pilot for a new Channel 4 comedy.
On top of all that, her fitness DVD, Scarlett’s Superslim Me Plan, has flown off the shelves – all of which has netted her a cool £1 million in just over three months, reports The Mirror.
A source said:
Scarlett’s personality really shone in the jungle, so now she’s one of the most sought-after names in TV at the moment.
She’s being very selective about the jobs she takes on, but there are some lucrative deals in the pipeline that are set to net her a tidy sum – her success has been amazing and the opportunities keep piling up.
However Scarlett herself said she doesn’t want to take on too many TV roles to avoid ‘reaching saturation point’ this early in her career.
She revealed:
I turn down so many things because I don’t want people to get sick of me.
I refuse to promote anything on Instagram for money and I’m aware that I have to be careful about saying yes to anything.
Which we suspect could prove to be an incredibly wise move…
To be honest, fair play to Scarlett, she seems like a genuine person who people can easily relate to, best of luck to her!
