Everyone’s favourite dating show Take Me Out is making some big changes to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The king of dating, host Paddy Guinness, is returning with the 10th series of the hit show early next year and there will be two very special episodes to celebrate.
For the first time the show will include older contestants and the famous ‘flirty thirty’ will be men instead of women.
For a one-off gender swap episode, three girls will come down the Love Lift to pick from 30 male contestants who have all been on previous series of the show.
Paddy’s favourite male contestants are returning for another chance to find their one true love and let’s hope they’re in luck this time round!
Another special episode will be for over-50s only allowing older contestants the opportunity to win a trip to the legendary Isle of Fernando’s!
Thirty fabulous single older ladies looking for love will feature on the episode, something host Paddy is very excited about.
He said:
I’m so excited to be celebrating ten series of Take Me Out.
I always look forward to seeing romance blossom amongst a new line up of ladies and gents, including the over 50s!
I’m also going to be catching up with the couples who got together after meeting on the show.
Bring it on, let the tenth see the series!
As Paddy says, these special episodes will also see the host reunite with the success stories from previous series.
So far an incredible seven weddings and three babies have come from matches made on the show!
Considering the show has been criticised in the past for focusing on looks rather than personality, it is clear Take Me Out is doing something right!
