If the response to The Haunting Of Hill House is anything to go by, it’s safe to say that Netflix users love a scary story, and Chambers is set to tick all the boxes when it comes to freaking us out.

It stars Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn as the parents of a deceased girl, whose heart has been donated to a young heart attack victim named Sasha, played by Sivan Alyra Rose.

Check out the trailer here:

Sasha and her family go to visit the grieving couple, and promise to honour their late daughter’s memory. She notes that someone had to die in order for her to live, and the shows draws parallels between the two girls who have shared the same heart.

However, the living girl starts to become afraid as troubling things start happening, and she develops new personality traits linked to the deceased victim.

Sasha has frightening visions, and starts to become obsessed with the circumstances that lead to her organ donor’s death – and consequently the continuation of her own life.

Chambers is created and directed by Leah Rachel, with screenwriter Stephen Gaghan as the executive producer. It’s set to drop on Netflix at the same time worldwide tomorrow (April 26), so it will be available to watch at midnight Pacific Standard Time (PST) in California, and in the UK from 8am.

The series is made up of 10 episodes – which, thankfully, will all be made available at once, making it perfect bingeing material for the weekend.

Rachel spoke about the new series in a press release, saying:

Taking place in a mystic, New Age pocket of Arizona, Chambers is a psychological horror story that explores the different ways we metabolize trauma.

But what starts out as a grounded human story eventually pivots into something far more strange and f**ked up than you were expecting.

Although we’ve only seen a few clips of the show through the trailer, some people are already sold.

One person responded to the trailer on YouTube, writing:

Uma Thurman? Say no more I’m already in. This looks gnarly. Keep ’em coming Netflix.

While another wrote:

This looks chilling as hell..

Though I’m sure a few people will be watching the show from through their fingers, it’s sure to be an entertaining watch!
