Terry Crews has officially confirmed that White Chicks 2 is in the making, and our inner 12-year-olds are screaming.
It’s been a whole 15 years since the original comedy was released (yep, we feel ancient, too), but good things to come to those who wait and finally, a sequel is on the way.
The first film followed two disgraced FBI agents who go undercover as ‘white chicks’ in a bid to protect a hotel heiress from a kidnapping plot.
There have been whispers about a potential sequel for a while now, but when Terry recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, he was asked straight up whether there would be a follow up to the iconic comedy film.
He said:
I actually got with Shawn and he was like ‘Man we doing it, we’re getting it going’, 15 years ago as of this month! I’m staying in shape just for this movie.
Terry also recently appeared on The Talk, where he was asked what song he would belt out in the White Chicks sequel.

After pondering hard, he said:
I think the modern day of [‘A Thousand Miles’] would be Carly Rae Jepsen ‘Call Me Maybe’.
I don’t know the lyrics but I would definitely do the whitest white girl song you would ever see. But white girls are singing gangster right now, you know what I mean? So, it might be a little different, it might have a little rap thing in there. However we would do it, it’d be great.
Previously hinting about a sequel, while speaking to Us Weekly on the America’s Got Talent red carpet, Terry said:
I would love one. I’m staying in shape for White Chicks 2. I will never get out of shape – you know that, right? I will be 75 and say, ‘Here we go, I’m ready to go!’ I will never, ever get out of shape because that movie’s going to happen one day.
Earlier this year, Terry’s co-star Marlon Wayans told MTV:
Is White Chicks 2 happening anytime soon? I don’t know, but there’s been some rumblings happening, and a lot of people want us to do it, so me and my brothers have been talking. So, if things go right, we hope to do a White Chicks 2.
That sounds pretty promising to us. Incredible stuff.
