Avengers: Infinity War is one of the most popular films I’ve ever come across. The film is so popular, it’s sold more tickets than the previous seven Marvel films combined – and this was two weeks before it was even released.
Those seven films encompass; Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War, and Ant-Man. Woah.
But, as with all with all things popular, there are a lot of people in the world who absolutely despise all those involved.
These people tend to vent their unfiltered anger at the stars of such a film as Avengers: Infinity War via Twitter.
And here they are. In all their glory. Be warned, some of these are pretty explicit – but none the less hilarious:
How good was that?
The tweets were read out on Jimmy Kimmel Live and are currently at the number one spot on YouTube’s trending list. It’s easy to see why.
Despite only being posted yesterday, at the time of writing, the video has already received a huge one million views as well as 56k likes.
Some of my personal favourites include:
Elizabeth Olsen has weird f*cking thumbs.
I bet Tom Holland is one of them whities who claps when the plane lands.
Okay so how did the coolest blackest dude in the galaxy end up some whitebread-ass name like Chadwick.
Then, there was just the downright offensive:
Follow this page if you hate Dave Bautista. He’s ugly, a complete joke, non-talented, and he sucks.
If a girl wants to f*ck Paul Rudd, chances are she’ll f*ck you too.
Another favourite of mine is the mean tweet directed at Benedict Cumberbatch. Not necessarily the tweet, but his priceless reaction afterwards.
The tweet reads:
Benedict Cumberbatch always looks like he’s had an allergic reaction to bad shrimp.
His reaction:
Brilliant!
Fortunately, most people across the globe absolutely adore the Avengers, including none other than Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool.
Posting to Twitter over the weekend, Reynolds’ revealed Deadpool’s rejection letter to join the Avengers team. Poor guy.
The rejection letter reads:
Re: Joining The Avengers
No.
Absolutely not.
Go bother Prof. X.
No.
Sincerely,
Tony Stark.
The tweet was captioned:
From a guy who never knows when to quit, I’m glad you guys never did. Congrats #Avengers.
The movie, which along with Avengers 4, will serve as the grand finale to the MCU, sees Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finally go up against Thanos (Josh Brolin) as he attempts to assemble the Infinity Gauntlet.
To fight off the evil Titan the three will assemble the biggest Avengers team yet featuring Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and countless other heroes from across the cinematic universe.
The movies, of course, also, star Stan Lee.
Avengers: Infinity War co-director, Joe Russo, confirmed the 95-year-old comic book legend will appear in Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, as well as Avengers 4.
