The Game of Thrones band known as The Brotherhood Without Banjos may be about to record a very special album.

The Hound, Tormund, Ser Jorah and Beric have been teaming up as a musical quartet in various viral videos that have sent fans crazy.

It all started when Kristofer Hivju (Tormund) and Rory McCann (The Hound) performed the classic Roger Whittaker folk song ‘Yellow Bird’ on Instagram.

The pair then joined forces with Iain Glen (Ser Jorah) and Richard Dormer (Beric) to perform I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You by Tom Waits.

It really is the best video the internet has ever seen.

That was until they performed their own original composition, Anthem Over Season Seven End.

In the caption for this video, Hivju put:

BROTHERHOOD WITHOUT BANJOS

This is our latest hit ‘Anthem Over Season Seven End’. On guitar, Iain Glen! On the ukulele, Richard Dormer! And choir Mr. Rory McCann and myself!

Our new album is called, ‘What Will Fate Bring Us???’

Of course this was meant as a joke but ever since Hivju named the band and suggested an album title, it is all fans have been thinking about.

Now our dreams may come true as Dormer has revealed in an interview with Digital Spy that if he is in the next season of the hit show, they will record and release an album together.

He said:

We all have instruments now, so if I’m in the next season, we’ll be popping down to the recording studio in Belfast!

Dormer also had no idea that the clips had gone viral saying:

Really? Oh wow. I knew Kristof put something online… we just have fun.

It’s just us blowing off steam. A lot of the time we’re sitting around waiting for hours, in the rain.

Since it is unclear whether Dormer’s character Beric survived the climax of the last series, we are unsure whether the album will happen.

But we pray to the old gods and the new it will.
