It’s been 16 years since the world fell in love with Cindy Lou Who from Ron Howard’s film adaptation of the Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
You may remember her as the sweet little Who who believed that everyone has a bit of good in them – even the Grinch.
So what’s she up to now?
Well, if you remember her as a soft-spoken, innocent girl, not what you’d expect.
While Cindy Lou did carry on with her acting career – starring in shows like Gossip Girl and Spy Kids 2 – she eventually ditched her on-screen life for on-stage.
She’s now 1/4 of a rock band called The Pretty Reckless and has decided to goth it the fuck up.

A few of her band’s songs have landed on the No. 1 top hits for rock charts, surpassing those by the likes of Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders.
When Entertainment Weekly asked Momsen if she missed acting onscreen, she replied: “No, not at all…I think when I quit acting, everyone thought I was crazy, and now it’s three number ones later, so they were wrong.”
Way to go, Cindy Lou Who.
