With only a few days left until it launches, the line-up for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here has finally been announced.
After chasing rumours for months, we finally know which Z-listers will be entering the Australian jungle to take on challenges – challenges not too far away from our worst nightmares.
Here are the celebs who’ll be eating some kind of animal’s nether regions, in an attempt to become relevant again:
Jack Maynard:
YouTube star Jack Maynard, brother to singer Conor Maynard, is heading to the outback to take on the gruesome tasks.
The 22-year-old online star, DJ and presenter is famous for his self-titled channel which has 1.2 million subscribers.
He posts vlogs, challenges and comedy skit videos.
Jamie Lomas:
Everyone’s favourite murdering villain from Hollyoaks will be facing his worst fears in the jungle after leaving the popular soap for a third time.
For the past 11 years Jamie Lomas has played the wicked Warren Fox.
An insider told The Sun:
Jamie is a good-looking single guy so they are hoping sparks will fly with one of the single girls in the camp.
There will be plenty of gorgeous girls in there he could end up hitting it off with.
And the bosses know viewers love a jungle romance. Jamie is a really down-to-earth, funny bloke but also doesn’t suffer fools. So they think he’s a great signing.
Jennie McAlpine:
Lomas and co. will be joined by fellow soap star Jennie McAlpine, who’s known for playing tearaway teenager Fiz Brown on Coronation Street.
After reportedly begging for years, ITV have finally persuaded the 33-year-old to enter the jungle, believing her popular character will make her a hit with viewers.
A show insider told The Sun:
Jennie’s been on the wishlist for some time and, after a lot of persuasion, she’s agreed to take part this year.
Corrie have given it the green light because they’ve been able to reschedule her story-line filming — so everything has finally fallen into place.
She’s bubbly and great fun, so they hope she’ll be a great addition. The producers are over the moon to get her.
Georgia Toffolo:
Known as ‘Toff’ to Made In Chelsea viewers, Georgia Toffolo has signed up for the show.
Catching the public’s attention through her appearance on Celebs Go Dating earlier this year, Toffolo is sure to be a massive hit.
Expected to become the jungle’s latest shower babe, maybe sparks will fly between her and another celeb?
Vanessa White:
Vanessa made up one fifth of girl group The Saturdays before going solo in 2015.
The 28-year-old is confirmed for the show after recently breaking up with her long-term boyfriend, menswear stylist Gary Salter.
Rebekah Vardy:
Wife of Leicester City footballer, Jamie Vardy, Rebekah is set to enter camp.
She’s recently been on television revealing her battle with post-natal depression following the birth of her second child.
She’s also received widespread praise for her candid pictures which showed off her ‘mum tum’.
Dennis Wise
The former Chelsea captain and England midfielder arrived at Brisbane airport two days ago looking very chipper ahead of his approaching jungle ordeal.
Amir Khan
The Olympic and former unified light-welterweight world champion has been in the news recently in an online spat with his wife Faryhal Makhdoom but the pair appear to have patched things up.
He’s heading to the jungle to ‘stay out of trouble’ and will be keeping in shape by going on ‘gentle jogs’.
Stanley Johnson
Stanley is father of Boris Johnson. Hope the jungle treats him well.
I’m A Celebrity 2017 starts on Sunday November 19 on ITV.
