Someone just rolled a five or an eight and let Peter Shepherd out of the board.
The 13-year-old boy who was turned into a monkey by the magical Jumanji game got trapped and has now escaped at the age of 34, looking very different.
Bradley Pierce, now predominantly a voice actor, would be much more capable of taking on the herd of animals these days, and is fully up for a sequel.
Speaking to TMZ, Bradley said:
A sequel, I would love that, I’m totally behind a sequel.
Kirsten Dunst and I all grown up, find the game and play it with our own family – it could’ve been awesome.
What upsets me is that if someone says they want to do a reboot, that’s fine, but they didn’t do it when Robin Williams was around, and it just feels like it’s a little bit insensitive.
Since Jumanji, Bradley has voiced chip, the little tea cup, in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, as well as Tails for the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise.
He talked about how Robin Williams wasn’t keen on Jumanji 2:
What I heard was that seven or eight years ago, when they first started talking about a reboot, was that they couldn’t get him to sign on and do another one.
Now I don’t know, but I think he didn’t want to do another one because the first one felt right, and trying to bring him back for another one – it didn’t lead in that direction – the game should get found by someone else.
Bradley now has three kids of his own, avoiding skiing holidays at all costs no doubt.
He needs to find Kirsten Dunst and finish the game so he can return t0 1995 when he was cute and had hair.
