After the million Suicide Squad trailers that have graced us over the coming months, you’ve probably noticed by now that Harley Quinn wears some seriously skimpy shorts throughout.
But, it turns out that her hot pants keep changing lengths in different trailers and just won’t stay still.
Comicbook.com pointed out that the clip which was released during Comic Con in San Diego last month differs to the identical shots found on the international trailer.
It turns out that it’s dependent on where you actually see the movie.
Here’s the international trailer:
And here’s the Comic Con version:
Margot Robbie addressed the rumours that her shorts had been Photoshopped in numerous countries to make them look different lengths.
When asked by Nova if she knew anything about it, she said:
I didn’t know about that … having been there on the day, they were very small — but wow, I wonder if they did? That would be extensive Photoshopping to do.
Her shock at the editing comes only three months after an interview with The New York Times, where she refused to agree with the opinion that her character wore the hot pants because ‘she wanted guys to look at her ass’ and claimed it was because they’re ‘sparkly and fun’.
Which is pretty ironic, considering that it appears that the exact opposite thought process took place in post-production – although this does serve as a good reminder that so much of what we see on screen just ain’t real.
Suicide Squad and the team break into theatres on August 5, 2016.
