Eamonn Holmes was left watery-eyed after the bendiest woman in the UK gave This Morning viewers an impressive demonstration.
Claudia Hughes appeared on the ITV show to demonstrate her unique talent – folding her body in three – as well as performing one of the rarest acrobatic moves ever, reports The Mirror.
The 22-year-old is thought to be one of just a handful of people in the world who can contort her body in such a way.
As Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford looked on in awe, the acrobat demonstrated the Marinelli Bend, grabbing hold of a padded pole with her mouth and bending her body back on itself with her feet hanging over her head.
Claudia told the amazed presenters she first discovered she was super flexible when she was a kid:
It all started from a young age, when I was about eight I was always trying new tricks putting my legs over my head and showing off to my friends.
Even though the complex move left her practically breathless, Claudia had more skills to show off.
She took to a mat to demonstrate how she could fit herself in a cupboard – leaving Eamonn gasping: “Oh dear! It brings back the pain of my operation.”
But not just anyone could do these moves, Claudia has hypermobility – a condition that allows joints to move way beyond their normal range.
Putting her condition to excellent use, Claudia has just graduated with a degree in circus skills and contortion at the Circus Space.
I can’t even touch my freaking toes…
