ITVThe X Factor came back to our screens last weekend and there was only one audition hopeful that social media could talk about, Kayleigh Taylor.
Wowing the judges with her emotional rendition of ‘My Immortal’ by Evanescence, the 27-year-old Liverpudlian got the thumbs up from everyone and certainly caused a stir online.
However, as some noticed, this isn’t the first time Kayleigh has been on television as three years ago she appeared on none other than The Jeremy Kyle Show.

That’s right, the X Factor hopeful featured in a segment called ‘I found my long-lost father and I hope DNA proves he’s not my dad’.
The mum-of-three saw her estranged father accuse her of stealing his mobile phone and then, when she denied the theft, Kayleigh failed a lie detector test.
Her Jeremy Kyle appearance didn’t go unnoticed:

Kayleigh told The Sun:
I don’t pretend to be perfect. I’m human.
I’ve made a number of mistakes in the past and I’m now trying to better my life.

She has been involved in her fair share of scrapes over the years.
Hopefully, her stint on X Factor is an opportunity to start afresh and turn over a new leaf.
When Kayleigh appeared on X Factor for her audition, she immediately made an impression with her quirky sense of humour as well as her impressive voice.
We reckon the former chip shop worker will go far in the show and we wish her all the best.
