HBOBran Stark has officially warged out of Game of Thrones and into the Olympics.
Okay, not really. But his namesake has.
Game of Thrones fans are having a great time after discovering that there’s an actual Olympian named Brandon Starc competing in Rio this year.
GettyThis Brandon Starc is not, in fact, a young warg who is key to the war of the Seven Kingdoms – he’s actually an Australian high-jumper.
And unlike Bran of Winterfell, the real Brandon can walk (and jump).
Starc’s similarity to Bran pretty much stops at the name, but that hasn’t stopped the 22-year-old from attracting the attention of GoT fans pretty much everywhere.

There’s been no confirmation on whether there’s a Hodor in the competition yet, but let’s just hope there’s no Jaime or Cersei Lannisters hanging about in Rio.
