It was only a matter of time really, but Game Of Thrones fans now have the ultimate pass time to tide them over between the final two seasons.

That’s because there is a Game of Thrones Monopoly, and it’s on sale right now.

The board game, which sounds like the best Friday night ever, features you could ever want from the HBO inspired property game.

Locations on the board include all the tactical locations that are sought after by Westeros’ political chancers both in the books and the show.

We’re talking Castle Black, King’s Landing, Winterfell, Dragonstone.

If you think about it, Monopoly is really the perfect game to represent the Game of Thrones mythology.

HBO

Either that or Risk.

But you trade, buy, trick and horde your way right to the top until you’re the undisputed property magnate of Westeros.

Your playing piece options are as follows: Dragon Egg, Three-Eyed Raven, White Walker, Direwolf, Crown, Iron Throne.

The houses and hotels are also swapped out for villages and keeps.

At the time of writing, the board has a rating of 4.9 stars out of five, so it’s obviously amazing fun.

Excellent twist on the original game especially for Game of Thrones fans. Would definitely recommend as a gift.

Bought as a gift and was very well received! The rules of the game itself are just the same as regular version just with the added bonus that you can be a dire wolf and own Kingslanding if it takes your fancy.

So if you are a Monopoly fan and a Game of Thrones fan then this is perfect for you.

The official description of the game sounds equally as awesome.

HBO

It reads:

The race for control of Westeros is on with this brand new special Monopoly game.

With artwork from the hit TV series and beautifully created playing pieces and villages and keeps, it’s a game for a connoisseur of the seven kingdoms.

HBO

I’m already pretty brutal when it comes to Monopoly, but adding in the extra wrinkle of Game of Thrones ruthlessness I might end up becoming The Mad King himself.
